Three male secondary school students in Osogbo, Osun state have been dragged before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for beating and hauling stones at their teacher to the extent that the latter suffered ankle dislocation.
The trio, Haruna Waliu, 19; Adebayo Abeeb, 19; and Oladimeji Tunde, 21 students of St. Mark’s Anglican Grammar School Kola Balogun area, Osogbo were said to have descended on their class teacher, Mr. Osho Bamidele Samuel and beat him black and blue.
This situation was said to have thrown the school and its environs into confusion as other teachers and students ran for safety.
According to the police prosecution who dragged the students to court in their school uniform, they committed the alleged offence on 24th October, 2014 at the premises of St. Mark’s Anglican Grammar School, Kola Balogun Area, Osogbo.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Isiaka Ajadi, informed the court that the victim sustained dislocation on his two hands as a result of the severe beaten meted on him by the students.
The case was adjourned till 9th February, 2015 for hearing.
